Pastor Joe Carpenter has been the Pastor of Summer Hill Baptist Church since September 2024.

 

He’s known for his energetic preaching style, love for God’s people, and a heavy burden for the lost.

 
He retired from the United States Army in 2024 after 20 years of faithful service to his country. In that same year, he earned a bachelor’s degree from Liberty University in Biblical Theology.

He and his wife, Bo, have been married since 2011 and have been blessed with two beautiful children. They love the Lord, God’s people, and thoroughly enjoy serving in the ministry.
